My personal financial journey began in 2016 when I graduated from college with a degree in civil engineering and I quickly realized how complicated and disorienting the financial world was as a financially-independent adult.

Prior to this, I always had three financial goals: give, save and spend. But now, I needed to learn to buy a car, rent an apartment, pay my bills, have insurance (but what insurance to get), save for retirement (but where am I supposed to do this and who do I talk to about what investments to pick), save for a house (that’s gonna be impossible in this market, right?) and buy all my own groceries, all while still having fun…? “Are we sure, I even make enough to do all of this?”

So, I started by taking Ramsey Solution’s Financial Peace University. This course gave me direction, one small step at a time, on how to use my most valuable wealth building tool, my income, to support “my family” (just me at the time) and plan for the future so that I one day I can achieve my dreams, become exceptionally generous with others, pay for my future kids’ college and retire early. The lessons from this course provided me with wisdom, direction and a sense of calm around money that I did not know was possible.

After years of managing my own finances, I realized I wanted to begin assisting others in developing their own financial plan and find the same peace I found after learning how to develop mine. So, I completed Ramsey Solution’s Financial Coach Master Training Course and became a certified Financial Coach. I have been coaching women and couples, like you, since then and have LOVED every moment of it.

Outside of coaching, you can find me working full-time as a civil engineer, practicing hot Pilates, reading, crocheting, trying desperately to improve my cooking abilities, spending time with family and planning a wedding during which I get to marry my best friend, Michael!
